Creation of a media promoting a musical performance taking place at the Lille-Lesquin airport. For its 15th anniversary the airport will be welcoming Bang on a Can who will perform a composition by Brian Eno: “Music for Airport”.
The artist is recognised in the field for his innovative work based around ambient music.
For this project I invested myself in the visual representation of time and sound. My.work centres around an ephemeral poster in perceived movement, constant and slow, playing with variances of light in the sky – this provoques a shift in the perception of.time. An airport is the perfect place for a.temporal performance of this kind; a place where people wait, others are rushing, some are adjusting their watches for time zone differences. Thanks to these situations, the.music and the visuals it emits, the.perception of a relation created between time and space is considerably altered.
This creates partitions that are simplified reading ofhis music concentrating on voice inflections, sound overlays and line diretions.
